Our Story

Carlos Montemayor Studio is the evolution of Carlos Montemayor's journey in the field of production and post-production. Starting as an employee at various production and post-production houses and later venturing into freelance work, Carlos garnered invaluable experience.
However, with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, everything came to a halt. When restrictions were lifted in July 2020, projects started pouring in again, and the overwhelming workload led Carlos to establish Carlos Montemayor Studio by the end of 2021. The goal was to grow and establish a prominent position in the world of production and post-production and compete alongside industry giants.
The name Carlos Montemayor Studio was chosen because it represents Carlos himself, the person who is known and sought after. The significant date of February 22, 2022, was selected to commemorate Carlos' grandfather, Don Lupín, who survived a rattlesnake bite and three marriages. This coincidental 120-year gap holds great meaning for Carlos, and it symbolizes the birth of his company.
